NOTICE OF ANNUAL REORGANIZATIONAL & MONTHLY MEETING - FAIRVIEW FIRE DISTRICT


PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Fairview Fire District will convene to conduct the 2024 Annual Reorganizational Meeting January 2, 2024 starting at 6:00PM followed by the January Monthly Board meeting at 6:30 PM.

In accordance with District policy, it is anticipated that this meeting will be conducted as a hybrid meeting, to the extent allowed by State law: Commissioners will be present in-person, staff and the public may attend the meeting in-person or virtually via the Zoom conferencing platform. In the event a Commissioner is unable to attend this meeting in-person due to extraordinary circumstances, notice of that Commissioner’s intent to participate remotely will be given in accordance with the Open Meetings Law.

Instructions for the public to view and listen to the meeting, or to participate in the meeting to the same extent as they would be allowed if they were present in person, via Zoom will be posted on the District’s website at www.fairviewfd.net

To the extent possible, the Board will conduct the meeting in accordance with its usual practices. However, due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, the Board will conduct in-person meetings utilizing applicable guidance from the New York State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control, and may cancel in-person attendance at meetings by the public if the Board determines conditions warrant doing so. General Instructions for members of the public wishing to attend -in-person meetings is available on the District’s website at www.fairviewfd.net, and will be posted at the entrance.
